The short answer
A hall or guest bathroom remodel on the Eastside usually costs $12,000 to $28,000 and takes 3 to 4 weeks of construction. The toilet, sink and tub or shower stay in place, and we replace what you see and use: tile, vanity, toilet, fixtures, lighting and the exhaust fan. Because plumbing doesn't move, many hall bath remodels need little or no permitting.

Hall bath remodel
Most hall and guest bath remodels replace the floor tile, tub surround or shower walls, vanity and top, toilet, faucets and showerhead, mirror, lighting and exhaust fan, plus paint. Where the tub stays, we can reglaze or replace it. Everything goes back in the same location.
Keeping the plumbing in place is what keeps the price and schedule down. When we open the walls, we still install a proper waterproofing membrane behind any tile that gets wet.
It's the right call when the layout works and the bathroom just looks tired. If you want to swap the tub for a walk-in shower, see walk-in shower conversions; for a full primary bath, see primary bathroom remodels.

Bathroom remodeling FAQ
Straight answers from our project leads. Don't see your question? Call (425) 276-6501.
How much does a hall bathroom remodel cost?
Most of our Eastside hall and guest bath remodels cost $12,000 to $28,000. Tile choice, the vanity, and whether the tub is replaced set where you land.
How long does a hall bathroom remodel take?
Construction usually takes 3–4 weeks. Add 2–3 weeks before that for design and ordering.
Do I need a permit for a hall bath remodel?
Often not, if fixtures stay in place and no circuits are added. A new fan circuit or moved plumbing needs a trade permit, which we file for you.
Can I live at home while you remodel my only bathroom?
Yes, with planning. We sequence the work to keep the toilet usable as long as possible and can arrange a temporary toilet if needed. Most clients with a second bathroom notice little disruption.
Should I keep the tub in a hall bathroom?
Usually, yes. If it's the only tub in the house, keeping one helps resale with families. A tub-shower combo with a new tile surround and glass panel is a popular middle ground.
Why choose design-build instead of hiring a designer and a contractor separately?
With design-build, the same team designs and prices your bathroom, so the plan matches your budget from the start. You get one contract, one point of contact and fewer change orders.
What's included in your hall bath price?
Design, demolition, waterproofing, tile, vanity and top, toilet, fixtures, mirror, lighting, exhaust fan, paint and cleanup. Tile and fixture allowances are listed line by line.
